Brad was the guy trying to figure out where he fit. I worked in call centers, sales, marketing, and the corporate world long enough to realize something about myself: I did not want to spend my life helping corporate America get richer while regular people and small business owners kept fighting to be seen.

I hated that world. Not the work. Not the people. The system.

Everything felt like numbers, scripts, quotas, leads, and pressure. I was good at talking to people, good at sales, good at helping businesses understand marketing, but I wanted it to mean something. I wanted to help real people, not just be another voice in a corporate machine.

Then came B-rad.

The name started as a joke from Malibu’s Most Wanted, but somehow it stuck. Over time, B-rad became more than a nickname. It became the part of me people remembered. The part that could walk into a room, talk to anybody, make people laugh, bring the energy, and still have a real conversation.

That is where Small Business Showcase came from.

I took the sales, the marketing, the radio, the conversations, the life experience, and the part of me that loves helping people, and I put it toward small business owners.

Because small business owners are not just selling something. They are building something. They are risking their money, their time, their name, their family, their peace, and sometimes their whole life trying to make it work.

I know what it feels like to keep rebuilding. I know what it feels like to bet on yourself. I know what it feels like to want people to see what you are trying to create.

That is why I do this.

Small Business Showcase is not about making another boring ad. It is about sitting down with real business owners, hearing their story, and helping the community understand who they are, what they do, and why they matter.

Brad wanted to help people.
